Here is how to delete the data in Mario Party 2. Go to the Options Laboratory and then the Trash Compactor. When it asks you if you are REALLY sure, say yes and it will go in the trash.
There should be an option to delete profile under the profile screen. Since the game is saved to the cartridge and not to the system in many cases, you can just get a new copy from the game store and start over with it.
